Our Culture

The Chicken Shanty has a unique and fun work culture, we call it "The Shanty Family"

Drive Thru Food Cart Concept

When we 1st started our Drive Thru Food Cart Idea in September of 2020, we knew that we were on to something big. When all the other restaurants were shutting down, we remained open. We were generating the same number of sales as a brick-and-mortar restaurant, but with way lower overhead with lines around the block. We now have 4 locations in Southern Oregon and have been compared to the next Dutch Bros, but with fried chicken. Our mission is to bring the food cart drive thru scene to the next level of casual fast-food dining. 

Brick And Mortar Concept

Not everyone wants a food cart, so Our 4th Location became our 1st Brick and Mortar location. We found with finding spots that were 2nd generation restaurants with small spaces that we could do the build out and do the same $125k buy in fee as with our Food Cart concept. Small spaces always look busy and they have less overhead of a big restaurant, meaning making you more money. 

From Our Chicken To Our Sauces, We make everything homemade. The only thing proprietary is our bread

Our Products

We keep it simple with our 3 main products, our Chicken Basket, Our Chicken Sandwich and Our Chicken Wraps. We use all fresh natural chicken and everything from our breading to our sauces are homemade. We specialize in Fried Chicken
